A significant part of our work has been on Auckland's villa and character homes. Full gut renovations, careful heritage restorations, and extensions where the old timber framing has to keep doing its job alongside new structural work. We read the existing structure carefully before we start changing it, and we do not close anything up until we understand what is behind it. On architect-led new builds, we read the drawings, price the work honestly, and run the site ourselves from consent through to code compliance. We keep the architect informed of anything on site that could compromise their design intent and resolve it before anything is cut. The relationships we have built with architects over the years are the foundation of the business.
